(1)The "Power of ten" shows us how tiny human beings are in the whole galaxy, everything we do would not be really matter to the world since we are just so ordinary. The play "Waiting For Godot" expressed the same idea. Vladimir and Estragon were just two vagrants according to the background. They didn't have a job and don't have anything necessary to do. Everyday they chatted and found many small topics for killing the time. Didi and Gogo didn't do anything contributing to the society. We are having the same situation under the perspective of god or under the view from the whole galaxy. We think our technology change the world and influence the whole ecosystem, but in fact we are just like Vladimir and Estragon, not important at all because no other creatures living on other planets can see what we did.
(2) Lucky is a slaver of Pozzo. Lucky must obey Pozzo's order. Even thought Lucky tried his best to satisfy his boss, Pozzo sometimes still wanted to fire him because Lucky was really old. "You want to get rid of him?I do."(Pg 24). It reflected to a cruel fact that sometimes you try your best on doing something but no one take it seriously or the result is still not the one you want. Didi and Gogo insisted on waiting for Godot everyday, but the result always disappointed them when the boy came to send them messages.
(3)Vladimir seemed expressing his determination to us because he insisted on waiting for Godot besides the trees until he comes. Instead, Estragon sometimes wanted to give up this hope and to leave that place.
(4)I think even Didi and Gogo didn't have a clue of what were they talking about. It seemed that they just mixed up a lot of topics or stories in their conversation. While they were waiting for Godot, they don't know what they could do except talking to each other.
(5) My life is related to this play. Didi and Gogo had a goal which were waiting for godot even thought they were not informed that what is the accurate time that Godot will come. In my life, I have my dream as well. No one come to tell us when I will be achieve this goal, but I won't give up anyway because I believed that I will be success one day.
(6) The first one is friendship. It shows Didi and Gogo love each other, although they always had arguments. The second one is goal or dream. Waiting for godot is the main story line of this play. If they didn't set this as their goal, they would not appear on the stage. They would continue living without any hopes, dreams like the walking dead. The goal which is waiting for godot gives them the significance of their lives because they know what to do at least.
(7)Some people might think this play is cynical because the fate of this two people are tragedy. We might think they were waiting for something that will never come, but how could we know that godot won't come if they don't wait. So I think the author wants to tell us that no matter how ridiculous or how funny that our dreams are, we must hold on to it anyway. Sometimes People feel insecure because they don't have a dream or how to achieve the goals. When we don't know what we live for, we lost the direction and feel lost. The flip side of insecurity is calling and sense of responsibility. When we have goals in our life, we will have that.
