Global Warming

Global warming is the most serious environmental problem in the world. People burn fossil fuel and coal, which increases the concentration of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere. The rate of rising has been rapid since 1800S because too many industries were built up and polluted the air. Some other human activities such as deforestation which significantly contributes to the climate change because there are fewer plants to consume the Carbon Dioxides. When the sun’s short wave radiation goes through the atmosphere and hits the Earth Surface, the Earth consumes the short wave radiation and sends the long wave radiation out. Carbon Dioxides in the atmosphere form a wall to stop most of radiation going out. It reflects the radiation back to the Earth. Much heart from the radiation is trapped in the Earth and the global temperature rises up. This “greenhouse effect” is the reason why the climate changed.
